Why Collect Crazy Critters?
PLA filament is made primarily from fermented plant starches, such as corn, sugarcane, cassava, or sugar beet pulp. These renewable, organic materials are processed into sugars, fermented into lactic acid, and then polymerized to create a biodegradable, eco-friendly thermoplastic used in 3D printing.
Because of its natural, plant-based origins, PLA is considered a bioplastic and is much more environmentally friendly to produce than traditional petroleum-based plastics
